Since no Untappd...

Fury Brewing Sid's 1K IPA is pretty tasty. Very bitter west coast IPA, closest comparison would be something like fresh Neshaminy Creek County Line IPA.
Second growler is the controversial clearance Irish red ale. Pretty tasty...for an Irish red. Will call it 2/2.

I like this no untapped thing for you greg4579. Let's just turn this into a pgh beer review thread.

Not pgh, but PA at least - weyerbacher finally legal. Not bad. Not great at all though. At 13+%, will to a fine job helping me get drunk, so there's that.
In related news:
I quit smoking, & instead am just hanging around trucks stops, deeply inhaling the exhaust fumes of idling semis.

Old Jive tasted to me like a Wild Turkey barrel though about putting beer in it, but passed and just gave out more Wild Turkey.

Am on finally legal #2 so I had to read this a couple times...and am probably still missing the point of your post, as I usually do even when sober....but are you comparing this thread to a truck stop?

Wow went camping for a day and a half and so much has happened;
I like vinyl. Also great memories growing up listening to my dad's albums. Big music fan. Also used to listened to his 8-tracks. Even owned on of these

And for the record (no pun intended) I do sit around and just listen to music. Keeps my daughter from wanting to watch tv.

jagoffbrewer I'm always down for a share, and wouldn't mind trying more of your beers. Dont make it to the south hills much these days, but some of the stuff you have released recently is starting to peak my interest and might have to change that soon. Hope i can make the share.

Like the review thing. It doesn't qualify for the PA thing, but had a Jackie O's Pockets of Sunlight yesterday. Real tasty and hit the spot yesterday while the sun was shining. Don't tell anyone but their saisons shouldbe on your radar if that's your thing.

Vinyl isn't that much more expensive than buying digital and you usually get the digital for free. Showing off your "Enter the 36 Chambers" LP will up your chances of flogging some strange puss. If you like standing in lines as much as most people from Pittsburgh you can participate in Record Store Day.

Anyone else going to CYHSY tonight?

My parents had a huge record collection and my sister and I loved going back and forth playing songs. Most of my favorite memories of growing up involve a record player. Keep collecting and pass them on dude, your kids will thank you

Is that the Audio Technica AT-LP60NV-BT? Ive been in the market for a newer turntable for a bit.

So vinyl wins in this thread?

Still a bit out from opening in Sharpsburg but curious if you ***** be interested in a soft opening of the new spot? Maybe a bottle share as well so we don't have to drink garbage the whole time. Holler at your boyscout.

Really depends on your thoughts on vinyl...

Hopefully released with III? I dont like the idea of heading there to sign up for beers twice in a month.
I have no knowledge about the saison and/or the anniversary release...having said that my food for thought it is in any breweries best interest to bring folks in more often rather than make it convenient to maximize on limited stuff.

I'm trying hard to like it guise, I really am. Maybe I'm just getting unlucky with what they have on when I go in.
