Happen to know an approximate time in the podcast? No way I'm making through 79 minutes.

Agreed, it's a shame you don't appreciate it.
Because I think most beer is just varying levels of mediocrity, I don't appreciate the good ones? People who think everything is really good(especially just because it's local) are the ones who are getting it wrong.

You guys may have already talked about this, but HOLY ******* **** is the events feed for PCBW terrible. Is there a better list of events somewhere?
You don't understand, that website is just too far advanced for you, you just don't know how to use it, you have to search, you wouldn't understand. Edited to add #brianmeyerbeerweek because jagoffbrewer finally produced something worthwhile.

Are there any worthwhile events for craft beer week this year? The first event I see on their page is craft beer cupcakes featuring Guinness. How can that be the first thing I see for Pittsburgh Craft Beer Week?

Yeah seriously. At the very LEAST, you need those tommyguz 's Better Half Voodoo cupcakes

I just ran through the list of events like a DQ blizzard through a lactards digestive system and these jumped out at me:

4/22-Record Store Day bottle/record swap Shubrew
4/23-Brunch and Burger Beer Pairing at Hop Farm
4/23-Patio Grand Opening and Pig Roast Pig Iron Public House
4/26-Charity Beer Fest and Video Game Tournament Rock Bottom
4/26-Yards Brewing Pizza Eating Contest w/Tom Kehoe Caliente Bloomfield
4/27-Tapas Takeover Yellow Bridge Brewing

Record swap, brunch and burgers, pig roasts, video game tourney, pizza eating contest, tapas. Reminds me of a weekend at my grandma's house back when i was McMatt6.

Their predictable and unfortunate response to my fb inquiry: "Sorry James, that's the only format we have the events in at this time. We hope you enjoy the week."

Looks like my giving zero ***** about PCBW 2017 is going to continue unabated.

Start at 44:00 - I fell asleep for 35 minutes from jagoffbrewer soothing voice, but woke up before

He must be a cool dude if he hangs out at East End.

He probably hates Headhunter and fries on his salad. Type of dude that expects the parking spot in front of his house to be available without having to hold it with porch furniture. Tailgates for pre-season Steeler games but has never been to Bradenton. Watches the Riverhounds from the train-track side of Highmark stadium. Never saw a show at Metropol.

Welcome to the official kickoff of PCBW where we celebrate all things craft beer here in this great city of Pittsburgh, or as I like to call it, "the week where Caliente sells beer not normally available around here for a $1.50 an oz. and where every bar/restaurant has a tap takeover of beers that are readily available but no one normally drinks".

(Couldn't figure out a way to incorporate cupcakes and free glassware giveaways.)
