I'll be in Vermont next week. Other than the obvious, is there anything cool to check out in Burlington? Has anyone been to foam Brewers?

Where are you staying? What are you looking to do - food/drink or hiking/outdoorsy stuff? The Vermont travel thread would help with numerous hikes around Stowe/Waterbury.

Most of the spots around Burlington revolve in/around church street. I'm obviously biased, but there's a ton of cool **** in Burlington. Personally, I'd grab dinner at hen of the wood and then beers at farmhouse tap and grill. Try to catch the sunset over the lake. Walk around church street and stumble into the bars. Get a rise n'shiner at kountry kart on Main Street for breakfast.

I'd skip Cabot and just look for jasper hill cheeses, but that's obviously preference. Back in the day Cabot used to give out free samples and we were "asked to leave" after stopping in after skiing at Stowe and eating too much cheese. My buddy can take down Vermont cheddar...

Haven't been to Foam Brewers. Burlington has changed a ton since I lived there. You won't be lacking for things to do. PM me if you have any q's.

On pay day i always spend about 20 bucks on candy. Why? Cause i have 20 bucks to waste on candy.

Some people have more money than they know what to do with, so they spend it on dumb ****.

They do know that the paint job and the rims that come on the car cost more then what they paid for the other **** right makes no sense. That car loose so much value right off the bat.

Which is why you probably don't see many economists or financial advisors driving one of those.

Edit: To be fair though, most cars lose a lot of value right off the bat.

Roundabout just tweeted a pic of a pallet of cans at the brewery. Haven't seen/heard from Phil, but damn this is an encouraging development. drgarage

Edit: Mike beat me to it, and we both called out Phil for not keeping us in the loop.

Edit 2: they have a cherry/blueberry Berliner on right now. The fruited Berliners are usually awesome.

Roundabout just shared a picture of blank cans on FB. What the **** wyckydsceptre? Why were we not made aware of this?!
They're experimenting with longer term storage crowlers. Note i said "longer" and not "long". I think they're trying to minimize oxygen exposure during the canning process so that they'll keep for a few weeks rather than a few days. Definitely not a canning line though.

And the new ipa is delicious as usual. I'll fill in for Phil this week since i went there last night.

Anyone have the beer from Butler Brew Works yet? I'm home in town and really want someone to tell me it's terrible before I waste my own time and money.

Dutch seems like a stand up citizen and Alba looks like she is on a lot of Zoloft. I mean who would not want to share a cold coffee and a Pittsburgh cream with these 3.

Do you guys have favorite beer buzzes? Not sure what it is, but I ******* love me an HDR buzz. On par with fat heads. Not talking about the beer at all...just the type of buzz.

Go to the tunnel. Ambient lighhting. Art. Fun.

I love that, too. Also, that Yacht rock station on a sunny weekend day can be clutch.
For about 15 minutes, until the novelty wears off

Clutch is coming to Pittsburgh soon. pretty pumped.

Giving NEPA a fantastic name...
