Yeah I guess nitrogenated cocktails are a thing. I love nitro coffee but am too poor right now to buy a setup. Hell I love nitro everything. Hopefully the welding place in southside can provide the liquid nitrogen.

I'm trying to contemplate how pissed the people are who emptied their savings accounts to buy tickets on StubHub for the game last night. Last I checked the cheapest ones were over $1,200.
I don't understand - do expensive sports tickets usually come with a "the team you like will win" guarantee?

Voodoo has this on draft in Meadville. It's delicious. Which reminds me I am getting on with Brunch before getting a Breakfast of Champions today!

I am also going to do this at home, but I have been a bit lazy and just haven't brewed up a batch to toss on. Have the tank, adapter, faucet and everything ready to go though. So I wouldn't use this guys trick.

I think there was a post about it in the Coffee Thread on here too. But no one from here hangs out anywhere else on TalkBeer, so we wouldn't see it.

Looks like my eventual bar setup just expanded, what with nitro coffee and carbonated water now on the to-include list

meh, it's an experience and people will spend their disposable income on what they want. Same thing with concert tickets imo

I'm sure if people know how much some people spent on craft beer they'd say the same thing

Yeah, I'm not questioning the paying for it. Just the thinking it's only worth the money the times that "your" team wins. If that's the case, would have to take into consideration the likelihood of them winning, divide the ticket price by that percentage, and that's what you're really paying.

I'd like o do a swap as well if you have enough left. I have a few different sours.
I can get you a bottle. I'm gonna serve this on nitro for a couple months on Nitro, then i'm gonna carbonate with straight c02 so I can fill some bottles as well.

Sorry to intrude but I couldn't find the info elsewhere on here or online: Are there any limitations on growler shape or size at Brew Gentlemen? Mainly interested if they'll fill Tired Hands style 1L's or just their own 750's.

They'll fill your TH growlers. I've had TH growlers filled there before. Just not sure on price...

It's no different then buying a bomber of something on the shelf without trying it. Sometimes you just roll the dice.

It would be the same if they only let you buy growlers, and not 16 oz pours..., or 8 oz pours..., or a small sample to see if you like it. So not really the same.

I know what you mean though, Ive done that with other breweries that I trusted before just because pretty much everything they make is pretty great. Unfortunately theres only 1 brewery in Pittsburgh that I have enough faith in that I would buy a whole growler of without trying it first.

If these ******* foghorns in my neighborhood wake my kids up, god help them all.

So we can stop talking about this **** now right?

(I think dupuis should have been given the cup before Daley. And who determines the Conn Smythe winner? Not sure I would have picked Crosby... Just saying.... )

I'm sure somebody can correct this...but I believe it's something like 20ish sports writers get to vote, with 5 minutes remaining in the 3rd period of the Stanley Cup clinching game...those decide it.

Although I agree with the Dupuis thing, I don't mind Daley.

I'm working in Bethel Park tomorrow, anybody up to meet ANYWHERE in Pittsburgh for a minor celebration circa 530-8? I'm ready to party now, but...obligations and capitalism and I just want to drink beer and party.
