My knowledge of the science is obviously ****, but I don't get how you could brew with actual ice cream and come out with a product that didn't have to be refrigerated.
Brewing is some crazy ****, man.

I heard it was aged on Dilly Bars. Stick and all.I feel like they are basically just adding flavored lactose sugar to the boil? Seems pointless but what do I know...I own zero breweries.
(The boil pasteurizes it, thus no need for refrigeration)

There was actual ice cream added. I remember seeing it on Twitter a while back. I'll try to find it.
EDIT: found it. I tried to get more info but didn't get much beyond ice cream is apparently hard to ferment.
I hope the bugs liked it then...otherwise this has mess written all over it...would love to hear what the FG was.
I think you mean "birch staves"I heard it was aged on Dilly Bars. Stick and all.
I actually started mine with a Prospero from jagoffbrewer and ended it last night with a half growler. My only partaking. How was everyone's PCBW? ****** because there was nothing going on that wasn't a horrific embarrassment? Mine too! Maybe next year the organizers will change the name to POSCBW before jumping off the Beer Barge with a quarter of Nutella lambic collab tied to their waists.
...yet they could do Picklesburg? When the Real Ale Fest was in planning, they were trying to have it on the Clemente Bridge. That turned out to be a near-impossibility.
Yea. Especially a bourbon ice cream stout, then made sahr by wild fermentation?Ice cream stout? Pass.
1.200
Isn't that a fairly high FG even by stout standards?
Just taking a wild stab, but 1.2 is probably the OG of molasses.Isn't that a fairly high FG even by stout standards?
The FG of Dark Lord is 1.060 which is actually asinine.Dark Lord actually has a FG of 1.2000 amirite?

Yeah, I mean, I guess if you can laugh at this, you can laugh at pretty much anything. All of those are laughable.
Can't remember where but somebody degassed a sample and got that reading from it.That high? I've seen figures varying from 1.033 to 1.047, which, still...
Says OG is 37 Plato, & with an ABV of 17.3%, that would make it around 1.032 (I think).I would love to know the FG on A Deal with the Devil B2. Holy hell was that sweet.
