Whatever it is, I'd pass on what they're asking for it. Saison du Ble was pretty good, but nothing better than plenty of other beers like it that are much easier to obtain.

Looking at MBP reviews on Untappd. Only review from past 24 hours or so that was under 4.75 was a 2.5. Same guy gave a Guinness/Dortmunder Gold Black and Tan a 4.5 yesterday.

C'mon, man.
The K13 ones are better. People really drinking the Pappy kool-aid. That beer was never very good and it's a drain pour mess now but ya know Pappy.

I think they are hyped appropriately for the quality they deliver. But I'm not willing to trade what they want to get them generally.

nhindian, did you call him out? I sure as hell would have. And he can go **** himself if he thinks a Fuzzy is going to pull a MBP.

No, not worth it. I just don't get it - the dude took the effort to text me after a trade and was ecstatic, but wants to hold a bottle of something that he could've picked up for 4 days hostage. I'd rather him just not say anything about the trade at all at that point.

Wants to do Bleuet de Ferm and Fuzzy for the MBP now. Dude can get bent.

Ha, I agree. I was saying that and there is always going to be another brewery ready to "explode" with some crazy AWA(or really any type of beer) around the corner.

Yep.

JK used to be SP for like a week. Then it was SARA. Then De Garde. (not necessarily in that order) Now SP. Just wait...

You know what never gets old? Laphroaig.

No. They make The Shape of Hops to Come among others. Very good DIPA. They are just northeast of Philly. Will be a nice addition.
Ever have there other DIPA called Blitzkrieg of Hops or something like that?

If that beer isn't at least 1200 calculated IBUs I don't know what is...... Tastes like ear wax.

Now Shapes is pretty nice and I would love to try Dank Hill.....mostly cuz of the name.

I think I've only has Shapes (awesome) and county line (good, not great) as far as I recall. A Good Problem To Have is supposed to be quite good but I haven't had that yet.

Yea I've heard that Good Problem is pretty damn nice.

They're Vienna Lager is fantastic and highly underrated. It's a malt lovers dream.

But yet was happy you killed him with a great box?!? Insane.

Anyone open one of those Grist House bottles or have it on tap over the weekend?

I am curious as well but never been impressed with Grist House. Girlfriend stopped by there with her friends on Saturday and their report was "it is still glorified home brew". With the Tripel being the only beer that they finished.

I've never had any of their stuff. Honestly I didn't even know where exactly they were located until I went down there Saturday morning.

Seems the "no barrel character" is becoming the prevailing opinion though.

Eesh. So a bunch of people raced out to snag a beer they never tried, only to have it taste of "no barrel character". I wonder if there will even be a line for the next release.

Yeah, there will be..."bottle it and they will come".

I was going to say this and I see two other factors which are becoming more frustrating. The fear of missing out factor which will draw people no matter what these days. Also, there are a lot of people that want to be part of the "scene", but want the scene to come to them and will make a bigger deal of a brewery/release then need be.
