There was a time...long, long ago when if someone made a downright stupid trade offer, they would just get ignored and left on their own to figure out just how dumb they were.

Nowadays, it seems that everyone trading only buys beer so they can turn a profit and “win” the **** out of a trade OR people have to fully analyze and micro dissect every component of a trade down to a crab on a homie hair and argue about it.

These yinzers in these Facebook groups "protecting" and arguing "secondary market value" down to the penny on Voodoo's beers from the upcoming release is one of the biggest eyesores and most embarrassing things I've ever seen. My friend added me to a group called Voodoo Trading League so I could witness the train wreck first-hand, and holy Christ, I never wanted to stab myself in the eyes so bad. I was out faster than Antonio Cromartie at a paternity test hearing.

I thought about it, and DG winning best new brewery is a pretty big deal. Think about how many new breweries show up on an almost weekly basis now. The fact that they expanded and do multiple weekly releases and still keep some beers on tap is pretty impressive. I make it there like twice a year, but I always dig their taproom. I’ve heard it can be a **** show lately, but that is more due to the crowds, not them.

Can days are nuts, non-can days are regular old medium-chill. People will complain that it's always asses-to-elbows, but that's because they only go on days when it's asses-to-elbows. But yeah, they launched with a really solid business plan, product, & marketing, so have gone off with only minor hiccups which were mostly just a result of demand. That plus cans making it out in to the wild led to widespread high ratings, thus making the RateBeer list. Surprised they're considered new for 2017, but whatevs.

Roundabout got an ipa on that tastes like a wicked awesome Roundabout IPA with ****** earl grey tea and honey and it's the nukes for real.

Got to Cinderlands last night. First off, it's a really nice place. I had the marrow and a chicken sandwich. Both were very good.

Kolsch was the highlight. Just a good, clean, well-made beer. I had 2 which is pretty rare for me.

The session IPA was fine. Decent nose. Piney. In the west-coast vein by modern standards. Light bodied and easy to drink. Inoffensive but not terribly thrilling.

The "NE IPA" was pretty bad though. Whomever thought it would be a good idea to put tea in this beer needs to be beaten with a hose. The description didn't mention the tea until the very end where it was listed under adjuncts. I missed it otherwise I wouldn't have ordered it. The nose was pleasant enough if not a bit muted. But the taste was all tea. No thanks.

To piggyback on Mike's review; went to Cinderlands a few nights ago as well for like the fourth or fifth time now. I liked the aforementioned, NE IPA, but it is super peach-tea forward. That said, it's a total one and done for me. I've largely found their more straightforward (for lack of a better term) beers to be the best so far (the kolsch, saison, etc). Hops are pretty whatever.

I did have the octopus appetizer and it was absurdly tasty. I'm definitely happy for another beer option that I can walk to, but Roundabout will continue to be tops for me. That said, for being as new as they are, there's a lot to like about Cinderlands out of the gate.

I made it down earlier this week (Tuesday hours are nice). I had a similar report in that the kolsch was my highlight and the session IPA was OK. Also had the milk stout, which I liked better than I thought I would. Did not get food, but everything coming out looked really tasty. Would also add that the bar conversation with staff was great.

Any padding and or box you would get to ship it would also have the same effect in your suitcase, so I'm not sure what the difficulty is here.
