RIP Meatless Left Eye, that **** was fire (get it, cause she committed arson?)

She burned down Spiderman's house if, I remember correctly.

She has two eyes; not guilty.

You all need to get your clicking finger ready and try and score some South Side Soup Contest tix. Because nothing says I love soup like running up and down the South Side waiting in line for shoots of soup on a frigid Saturday morning in February.

Did this the first two years and it's both great soup and miserable weather. Haven't done it recently because kids, but recommend.

Saw that, but what can it MEAN!? Last time everyone thought espresso was bottle wax and I was quarter-chubbed for a fort night thinking K13 was coming. Is this BR release going to be "That one time Voodoo only did saisons"?

Bottom righthand corner barrel has K13 RYE scrawled on it.

Is everyone super upset cause of the sports yesterday?

My stomach is super upset cause i ate a cheese steak and a bag of pretzels and 10 wings and 6 crab rangoonies and 5 or 6 fried dumplings and some Tsos and 9 beers and half a glass of water.

Half full or half empty?

Not as upset as I thought I was gonna be. A little relieved actually...hard justifying watching the sports ball competitions rather than doing something constructive with the fam.

The only part that sucks now, of course, is that Penguins ******** takes over until their season ends.

And I actually did not mind the Cole trade at all.

Bringing in anyone who lowers payroll is a prospect in the Pirates eyes. If they brought in an actual major league player they would have to pay them, and that goes against everything the organization stands for

I don't consider three 25 year olds, that if they were worth a **** would already have substantial time in the majors, as being prospects. Terrible move but not surprising.

Can't wait for the Cutch salary dump trade later.

He's be trending downward since 2013 with last year being the exception in that he was better than the year before. While his HRs and RBIs have maintained, every other measurable has fallen. Take it from a Phillie fan who still has nightmares over the Ryan Howard contract from a few years back. If he doesn't come out on fire to start next year, it's time for him to move on.

What gets me is that they got two pitchers who have each spent a couple years in the majors already and another guy who should be up this coming season. This makes sense if you're aiming for a competing for a wild card this year with a playoff run in the next few, but I don't see that happening. Half of the return will likely be gone before any realistic playoff window exists. Then add in the one "prospect" that they got back was a guy who was unprotected and unselected in the rule V draft and it's not pretty. Go compare Cole to Sonny Gray and then look at the return the A's got for Gray if you really want to be depressed.

I'm highly encouraged by the amount of emotion dedicated to the Bucs as opposed to the Steelers, considering the calendar month. More specifically, that yinzers are more pissed about a Pirates trade than an all-time disappointing and horrible Steelers playoff loss.

The Steelers are a very unlikable team. Plus, that loss was nowhere near the Tebow fiasco.

Ben could retire at about the exact same time the Penguins start to really fall off a cliff. And the Pirates will still - and always be - the Pirates. Not going to be a fun ~5 years or so in Yinzer Nation when this happens.

I just joke about it, don't really care because I know nothing will change for either team for a long time. Having an owner who only cares about max profit and a coach who will never get fired due to bs affirmative action rules makes it hard to be that dedicated of a fan.

Found the racist!

Thanks Rooney

I think it's the right move. Dump him while they can still get something for him. If he has another year like he did in 2016, his stock is going to plummet.

It is absolutely the right move. They need to keep dumping players left and right. You can't just kind of start blowing it up. Gotta completely blow it up. It's like being pregnant. You are or you aren't. No halfsies.

When the Pirates came off of a 98-win season, had a genuine chance to contend the following year, then did nothing because of the "bridge year" excuse, it was time to call it quits with that organization for a while.

Hope Cutch tears it up and wins a World Series. Especially because if he does, then it means that the Cardinals and Cubs do not.

Selfishly would have liked to pay proper tribute to the guy in a game setting while still in a Bucs uni. Not that the dude won't get a massive ovation the first time the Giants play at PNC.
