Any of you barleywine fiends had cinnsanity yet from weyerbacher?

I've never heard of a cinnamon BA BW.
a good friend of mine with a palate i trust said it was a drain pour so i won't go out of my way for it. i love regular insanity and cinnamon though so i had high hopes.

Damn, that's a bummer. Also a fan of the reg.

He say why specifically? Can't imagine a little bit of cinnamon could ruin Insanity...so maybe too much added?

Keep those adjuncts out of my barleywines. I will have CCBbomb is tasty, but ultimately I prefer my barleywines english, and/or barrel aged.

In general, I agree...but still wouldn't expect a bit of cinnamon to ruin a perfectly good BA BW.

Says the guy who bought a 4-pack of it at lunch...

For anyone looking, SaveMore still had a decent amount of KBS left. 2 4-packs per person.

He said it just tasted like cinnamon and alcohol. One dimensional.

First game I went to last year was about 40F. I love the cold and I love baseball, but baseball cold is a whole different universe.

Yeah I've sat through plenty of football games that were colder... But there's a mental preparedness to it. When it's like November and there's snow in the forecast, I'm mentally prepared for what it's gonna take to get to the end.

Also, that usually allows for 2-3 hours of boozing prior. Today, I was at work before the game. It's just not the same.

New here though I've followed the thread for a while.

Is Market District Shadyside doing a Battle of the Barrels for PCBW? If so any idea what kegs they have? Last year's event was one of the best beer events I've been to!

Swear to god when I posted this we were at 1000 pages. Someone must have deleted a post for the very specific purpose of making me look like a **** up. There's simply no other much more reasonable explanation. So **** you to that person. I'll never forgive you.
Ha ha, sorry Kev! I couldn't resist. Well, I could, but chose not to.
