Anyone familiar with the beer scene in the Orlando area? Going to be there for the next week and am pretty unfamiliar with Florida stuff except for Cycle and Cigar City, which I probably won't have the time to drive to.

One of my regulars is a brewer at Hourglass. He's sent a handful of their beers and his berliners are really, really good. They didn't have the greatest reputation when they opened but it seems they've gotten a lot better in recent months. That's my only contribution to this. Troy can take it from there

Bar wise - Redlight Redlight (Great beer bar, it is what i wish we had here in Pittsburgh), Tap'n Grind
Brewery - Hourglass(not really in Orlando), Ten10 (i know one of the brewers there)
Bottle Shops - Knightly Spirits, Total Wine (pm if you want specific locations)

Need more recommendations? Honestly I can recommend a bunch of beer bars and random little bottle shops. It will depend on your location, mobility etc.

PSUMike troygreer thanks for he recommendations guys, yeah I'm really looking for a few good food spots with a solid tap list or breweries in the area. Should have specified I probably won't be bringing anything back with me so I'm not sure if I'll hit any shops unless I'm going to pick something up to drink that's not at a bar.

Bars (you can check a lot of the taplists online)
Tap'n Grind, Frank and Steins (downtown)
RLRL - (5 min from downtown)
Gnarly Barley (~20 min south of downtown)
The Thirsty Topher (5 min from downtown 3 min from RLRL)

I feel like it's one of those gifts that a wife or parent gives you because it like kinda looks interesting and they know you like beer so you have to use it once or twice so you don't hurt their feelings but you're really dying on the inside

Beerwanderer is filling non-glass growlers a pain, in generl?
I always got the impression from a few unnamed PGH breweries and pubs, that people don't like filling growlers that aren't glass. Idk though.

Edit: obviously the douchenozzle one is a bit elaborate/extreme

I don't really get that. I mean, set aside that one incident and this is just a thread with a bunch of knuckleheads talking about beer and sports. I don't understand what we're supposedly doing wrong?
Oh I totally agree.
Who got ousted? The thread is still there and most of us will post in it when pertinent.
Come on bro. Everyone was butthurt that we couldn't fight and bicker and ******** over there and were so sad when the thread was moderated that they came over here. And now people are so mad and angry and butthurt that all people do is threadshit and post gifs and talk about how high our dumb trade value for MBP is and we're still mad.
