I don't know if it's so much that production hasn't increased but rather people are more on the ball with social media alerts and make the mad dash. Beer has changed so much of the last several years. I remember days when GNVP would last 3 days (2pp). Now stuff is gone in just over an hour. Probably similar or slightly higher total bottle count now but SO many more people rushing to get it as Voodoo has become more well known for their BRC beers.

I saw their post on the way to my car, about 10 minutes after it was posted, drove from Oakland to Homestead in about 20 minutes and there were about 30 or so people already there. People are on top of this **** these days. I got bottles and would open either/both with you. That Vanilla is turbo quality. Coffee isn't far behind.

Yeah I searched back through and couldn't find any talks like that from the voodoo account. I know tommyguz and I mentioned how we tried DoubleMex that first year and he got a hint of green pepper (which probably came from how the coffee was added, I've noticed it in Bourbon County Coffee). My recollection was that it was good but enjoyed the regular Mexican Coffee a shade more. I wanted more booziness from a BA beer, but did enjoy the touch of added sweetness. Then people got mad at us for not giving it 5/5 and specifically trying to crap on BG, which was not the intention at all. Don't know if that's the smack talk in reference?

I see not much has changed here. This is great.

I never really minded caliente cause I liked their happy hour, but it was always strange to me that the owner isn't a beer drinker. I guess it's cool to make a buck doing what you gotta do but collab beers, etc pushes it. I guess porn store owners don't have to be into all the crazy stuff they sell, right, applicable analogy?

My bad guys. I think I keyed In on the wrong part of that analogy. I would never question someone’s reasoning on opening a beer and pizza joint.

I do however question how someone finds themselves thinking that opening a skin mag and rubber pecker boutique in the age of the internet is fulfilling a niche that needs to be filled.

But, then again as dadavat pointed out beer is a silly hobby for sure. What right do I have to judge a fetish hobbyist?
