I have a Hopslam clone that is kegged and carbed. FG was 1.024 (Target is 1.018). Was a little concerned not hitting target. Beer tasted sweet, but I always does until carbed.
Yeah, it is too sweet to drink. I have 4 gal. left. Plan was to bring the keg and yeast to room temp, and pitch 1 vial. Let the yeast finish it off, cold crash and draw the yeast off the bottom through the tap.
Question is, do I need to make a starter? This is an 8% ABV beer, so thinking I probably should.
Any concerns pitiching yeast in carbonated beer?
Thanks
