That would concern me a bit. Invest in a fermentation chamber if you can. I bought a chest freezer as a fermentation chamber after my first brew. I did a bunch of research, bought a bunch of equipment and made my first batch. i went all grain as my very first brew and i did everything perfectly. The only thing i didn't do right as control fermentation temps and was hoping the ambient temp was cold enough to keep temps down. well it didn't and i got a ton of off flavors. eventually dumped the batch since i needed to free up a keg to fill it with much better beer that was brewed with controlled fermentation.
