Pink Splotches on Plastic Buckets? Help

Hey all, I'm starting to see some pink splotch patches on the in and outside of a couple of my plastic 5 gallon buckets. Is this the sign of bacteria growing? They are a lot harder to scrub off than regular residue and gunk. Starting to have some weak fermenting brews and I'm worried I'm not cleaning my equip well enough. Thoughts or suggestions?

Likely mildew. I get the same stuff in the bathtub. Try spraying it with some Clorox spray.
