That's exactly my plan, pilsner is one of my main flagships so I plan on having it on tap at home all the time.

We brew 2 Czech Pilsners every summer. One batch we keg straight, the other we keg 40% Pilsner / 60% Squirt to make a grapefruit radler. Don't laugh it's a great patio beer.

Sounds good to me man, I have all the gear and whatnot to brew. It’s all grain, and we can lager the damn thing in the keezer even..

Let me hunt around for my old Pilsner recipe. It was very Pilsner urquell like if I remember and simple to do other than I think I step or decoction mashed it. Can’t remeber I was drunk.

I like to use a kolsch and lemonade. Good grief is that something awesome to chug when doing/done with yard work.

Cronkite11 got me using gin and lemonade after yardwork. I'm very happy about that.

I don't think so. World of Beer had a nationwide event where they tapped some in 2015. Not sure if anyone has done this since.

Yes but only at WLV Zwanze Day as far as I know.

I'm pretty sure BeerMongers got some too. I was at Belmont and Upper Lip both times they got their kegs. At Upper Lip there was even the Czech-style tap handle which allowed the all-foam milk pours.

West Lakeview in Chicago has had it for the past 2-3 Zwanze Day events. I’ve had it in DC at Churchkey too. So definitely shows up, though maybe not all that often.

**** too craft beer bars that you would never expect in Suburban Chicagoland had the unfiltered unpasteurized Pilsner Urquell last year (Palmers Place and Wild Monk).

thewimperoo middlebrow and myself drank about a 1/4 of the keg at Wild Monk when it was on over the course of a week.

I think so. I’ve just started seeing it in the past 1-2 weeks. With the second Sierra Nevada brewery in N.C., I’m guessing it got to our market a little faster. Or maybe it’s all being brewed in N.C.?

Either way, it’s really tasty and should be widely available soon.
