I have a recirc mash direct fire. For about 10 min the pump lost prime and the mash in the false bottom heated up to 161 before I saw it. Re-primed and brought it down to 150 pretty fast.

Once it started to recirculate again the temp came back down to 150. Does not smelled burned so hopefully I did not burn it.

Any problems I can expect with conversion?
 
I need to get some. This recipie used 3lbs of flaked corn and the recirc stalled to a trickle. I know you need rice hulls with oats but apparently they could not hurt with flaked corn!
