Hi All -

This is the last task before my 6 months of work on my single tier is complete!!

I purchased 3 Jet Burners (JETC10P) from tejassmokers.
http://www.tejassmokers.com/images/jetc10.jpg

I am trying to mount my pilot light flex hose to the built in threaded fitting in the burner, however I can't seem to find the correct fitting.

I tried a 1/8th inch NPT plug from Lowes...but even that was too big. Was hoping to mount them just like Lonnie does with the Brutus.

Does anyone know what fittings I should use?

Please help...I want to brew on my new stand this weekend!

Thanks
Jason

If you are using gas flex you will want to use this from McMaster Carr #44605K224. You will have to drill a hole in the bottom about 1/4" and smaller one on all 4 sides about 1/32" in dia. to start. I believe I drilled mine with 1/16" and they are a little large for a pilot light.

Simply just let the flex line sit near the jet tips.

Thanks ehedge - are you saying I should just bend the flex to position it freely in the center of the burner? not connected to the burner...just held there by the resistance of the flex?

I was hoping to do something similar to what LonnieMac did - check out the 3rd and 5th pictures here: http://www.alenuts.com/Alenuts/brutus.html

Thanks

Yes I am talking about exactly what you described. Let the flex hold the weight.
