Picnic Tap Leaks

I took apart both of my picnic taps to clean them. Now, when I connect them to the liquid out they leak through the threads. Any suggestions as to fixing them?

Got it fixed..
Did you cross the threads..You could try some Teflon tape on it.??

Did you loose the little plastic washers that go in the fittings?

I thought about the thread tape, but then it'll be in contact with the beer.
I'm pretty sure there weren't any plastic washers, although it would make perfect sense because the threads were flush before and now they are inset slightly.
I'm gonna look around for any missing pieces.
Ultimately I think I'm gonna buy a new disconnect with mfl and a swivel nut. That way I won't have to take apart the disconnect to clean the line.

Those things are dirt cheap. Soon as they give trouble, pitch them and replace.

Yeah I know. It just frustrates me because I've only had them for a month. All in all, lesson learned!

Teflon thread tape is fine for food contact. Same stuff as what's in a non-stick pan.
