Very cool, took the NB tour last year. Want to take the Odell tour.

Did you like the barrel-aged sour?
Did you bust your ass on the slide?

Unfortunately they weren't offering tastes of the barrel aged sour, but I really would like to try it. I had Dogfish head breweries Festina Peche, which is a sour, and thought it was very interesting.

Me too, looks really nice. Both breweries are beautiful!

When I went I tried to get shots of the insides of those kettles but they didn't come out very well. I got an acceptable shot of the top 'plate' in the boil kettle but couldn't get a good shot of the impeller/blades in the mash tun (which was empty at the time).

When they asked for a show of hands of who didn't like the sour almost everybody raised their hand. I was one of the only ones in the 'undecided' camp. I didn't like beer, whisky, or coffee the first time I tried them but love 'em all now, so I'm not ruling out sours just yet. Might be an acquired taste.

The NB tour was one of the best and most fun tours I have been on. I love the idea of giving the people 4-5 full beers and then have them go down a SS sprial slide!

Looks like a great time. I like many of their beers and one day hope to do the tour.
