I agree this looks really bad.

I am inclined to think this is a photochop. Look how big that gun is and the look on her face, not what you would expect.

Not to mention who would let a baby slobber all over their gun, I wouldn't.

Actually, I went and took a second look at the picture (after my heart started again), and I think the tell tale white dot, on the bottom of the grip is a water spout for the squirt gun...At least that is what I'm going to tell myself.
