I have had a ph55 for a while now. Haven't brewed since last spring, due to not being able to cool chiller water from the garden hose. Ph meter was not under water the whole time. Is this meter good or bad. If I am going to continue with it, I will have to get solutions for recalibration. Just wondering what meter some of you all use. These seem pretty cheap. Thanx.

I have a hanna combo tds/ph meter and a hanna ph only meter. The thing with them is you can not let the glass membrane dry out and should be kept wet with a storage solution, or a 4.0 solution. If its been a year its almost certainly dried out. Some of the meters you can replace just the ph electrode and others you have to replace the entire meter.
