PET vsPETE

Over the weekend I found that FIJI brand water is bottled in PET plastic bottles....I thought to myself, that would be a good container for a Starter!
Ive looked at a few other brands of water to see what type of plastic is used...most that Ive found have been PETE...
My question being, Is the PETE not as good of an O2 barrier than PET or are they both good to use with Yeast\Beer production.

My quick search of wikipedia is sugesting that they are the same thing...

PET and PETE is the same thing, Pet brand (condensed milk IIRC) enforced the TM on the PET word mark from what I heard.
