so, i've been keeping notes and whatnot about my first two batches in a google doc, but think it might be easier (and i admit, probably way dorkier) to start my own personal wiki page.

anyone do anything like this? have any programs to suggest? i did a google search and apparently there are a slew of personal wiki software clones out there...

I use JSPWiki for my sites as it can run on any platform and takes minutes to setup. Now I don't host it public facing so you'll need a hosting site for that.

meant to add...are there any out there that i don't have to download? i want to be able to use it from my work laptop, and they're sticklers about having admin rights for stuff like that.

I use Google docs also. It works great for me. I can log in from work or any of my computers at home.

I know some people at work use TiddlyWiki, which is a standalone javascript wiki that does not require hosting. You can pass it between computers or store it on a USB stick or whatever, and it self-modifies. Very tricksy. Not as pretty as some of the others, but definitely has some advantages.
