I've never done cider but decided to give it a whirl. Grabbed a half gallon of peach cider from the orchard and got it going tonight. I used a hybrid recipe from the BYO cider recipe issue.
The cider was all peach and no apples, was pasteurized, and had no sorbates.
.5 gal Peach Cider
OG 1.079
71B yeast
75g sugar
1/2 tsp pectic enzyme
1/2 tsp yeast nutrient
