I just put a teaspoon of PBLC into my boiling wort with about 10min to go. I didn't look at the package until after I dumped it in. I grabbed the bag thinking it was yeast nutrient. Is my 5 gallons ruined? I think I should toss it? This is PBLC stuff is like super power PBW for cleaning lines. Stupidiest thing I've done so far with 50+ all grain batches. What would you do? I don't want to make anybody or myself sick.

The Material Safety Data Sheet says: "Harmful if swallowed. Swallowing can result in nausea, vomiting and irritation of the gastrointestinal tract."

If it were me, I'd call this batch a loss.

It's this one: PBLC: Powder Beer Line Cleaner, 1/2lb bag

I'm dumping. Just found lots of horror stories online with people at pubs drinking line cleaner when the staff forgot to flush the lines. This was an English Mild so I'm only out about 6 lbs of grain and 1oz Willamette. I'll just redo tomorrow, good practice though, I was nailing my gravity readings and volumes.
