Nope,

Pasteurization is heating the beer above 180F to kill all bacteria, and this process also kills the yeast. Once the beer is pasteurized, the yeast that were in it at the time of pasteurization are no longer viable.

What exactly are you trying to accomplish? Are you trying to harvest yeast from a commercial beer, or did you pastuerize your own homebrew, and if so, why would you do that?

I'm from Istanbul and you can't find a commercial beer with no pasteurization process.

You got me I think so. I try to harvest a pils lager yeast from commercial bottle.

Furthermore we don't have any commercial brewer's yeast here. I purchased an ale yeast from USA via ebay. But don't want to wait longer for lager yeast.
Thank you.

Do you have any smaller breweries/brewpubs in town? I bet at least one of them would be willing to help a homebrewer out with some free yeast. I did a quick google search, there seems to be a few to choose from, good luck:

I don't remember if they brew any lagers, but Balans Brau is a fantastic craft brewery near Taksim Square in Istanbul, they might be a good lead on yeast...
Also, I do love me some Efes Pilsen whenever I can find some, especially the Fici Bira!

Thank you very much you pals.

Balans Brau and Taps produce their own beer in Istanbul yep. I don't know if they help me.

Maybe I must buy a lager yeast by Ebay.
