Hi all !

Just finished my first 2 batches. I'm still doing partial mash as I'm not quite ready to jump into the all grain adventure. That being said, I think my next brew will be a pale ale. I noticed a lot of people here seem to like the cascade orange recipe. Just wonderig if anyone could recommend a good partial mash pale ale.recipe ? Thanks !

how much grain do you usually mash? & what method (3 vessel or BIAB)?
I do mini-mash (2-3 lbs grain + a 6 lb jug of LME), partial boil, stove top BIAB
I'm not a hophead so I do my pales more as hoppy blondes, but it's usually something like...
2 lbs Vienna
.5 lb flaked wheat
mash in 6 qts @ 152 x 60 mins
dunk sparge in 6 qts @ 170
1 oz any noble hop @ 60
1 oz @ 20
1 oz @ FO
6 lbs gold LME @ FO
ferment w/s-05 or similar
have done the same w/2 lbs MO & MO LME w/ EKG & s-04
hope any of this is helpful

Sorry, should have provided more info. Typically doing 5 gal batches right now. First one was a kit, second was a recipea friend recommended. Last recipe was 3 lbs of grains.

sorry, I should have added that the above recipe is for a 5.5 gal batch.
I usually end up with 2.5 gals post boil & top up to 5.5 once chilled.
you could use the above posted grain bill & process & go all Cascade.
you can use a recipe calculator to figure out how much hops you will need to get the IBU you're after. I use brewersfriend, it's easy & free.
