Brewing this AM. This is pretty similar to what I usually make so figured I'd post it up to see what you think: Partial mash (barely)
5.5 Gallons
5# 2 Row
1.5# Vienna
1# Extra Light D(ry)ME
1# 60
.5# 20
.5#Honey Malt
.25# Cara-Pils
BIAB Mash 149 degree 70 minutes
60 minute Boil:
1 oz Willamette 60 minutes
.5 oz Chinook 20 minutes
.5 oz Chinook 1 minute
.5 oz Willamette 1 minute
Nottingham Ale Yeast 2 week primary 66 degrees or so
Will probably dry hop lightly with 1 oz cascade final 4 days then keg and carb.
I know it sounds like a lot of crystal and honey malt but it never comes out sweet or cloying. Probably a combo of mash temp and water.
