Kinda cool, a coworker sent me this:

list

Basically if it is on the list, it can be sold here in PA. I am guessing most state liquor boards will have one of these.

I am not really sure what the actual application of this list is considering there are a number of items not on the list that I have purchased in state.

Well the actual application is this: If it is on the list you can be sure that it is allowed in PA lol. In other words, you should be able to find it somewhere because they have to pay a fee for it to be registered. I looked a little deeper and if it is being sold and not on the list they can get into trouble from what I read.

well in that case..if there are any PLCB agents reading this right now, I haven't bought anything in the commonwealth that wasn't on that list ;)

oh, and hows about letting distributors sell less than case quantities, ect.ect..ect.

Hehe. :D

I thought about that too (the broken cases) but my friend brought up the argument that it would probably harm their own extension, namely bottle shops. Allowing them to do so wouldn't be a big deal though since I think they probably get a better business from the guys who buy cases to split off into 6's.

Or how about allowing more stuff in?!? PA has some wierd distribution laws from what I understand. I wish we could order online. Then we could try just about anything....let's face it many things we'll never see them here because of the red tape.

Ahh yes...the many opposing povs of distributors, tavern & take out shops and the LCB with the wine and spirits shops. With the current territorial lines we have in the state, you can't make a change for one that doesn't impact at least one of the other retailers.

Sunday sales, availability, ect...there are some interesting twists.
