Here's sumit else solved (?): "Oxy" spelling ... probably down to us Brits 'cos we're right snobs and favour pretentious spelling.

I just looked up the ingredients on the OxiClean website:
https://churchdwight.com/ingredient...5223-Oxiclean-Laundry-Stain-Remover-Free.aspx
Intentionally Added Ingredients
Water
C12-15 alcohols ethoxylated
Hydrogen peroxide
Sodium C10-16 alkylbenzenesulfonate
C10-16 alcohol ethoxylate
Acrylic acid homopolymer
Acrylic/acrylate ester copolymer

Then checked on the WalMart website:
https://www.walmart.com/ip/Oxi-Clean-Versatile-Free-Stain-Remover-3-lb/19406202?classType=VARIANT
Ingredients
Sodium carbonate, sodium carbonate peroxide, C10-16 pareth. Contains no phosphates.

Active Ingredient Name
Sodium Carbonate, Sodium Carbonate Peroxide, C10-16 Pareth.

I can't make heads or tails of it. Does anybody know if some of the ingredients on the OxiClean website actually are sodium carbonate and sodium percarbonate?

The back of my Oxiclean Free only lists 2 ingredients (albeit written in Japanese): Sodium percarbonate and sodium carbonate. I'm assuming that a lot of the other ingredients in the normal Oxiclean are dyes, fragrances, and so on.

What's the ingredient list? Wonder if it's significantly different from Oxiclean.

Brew on :mug:
Oxy-Active is also predominantly Sodium Percarbonate (or sodium carbonate peroxide, for those trying to out-snob the English at spelling). I think anyone selling sodium percarbonate must list sodium carbonate because it can't be 100% Sodium Percarbonate (it can't help but break up into Sodium Carbonate and Hydrogen Peroxide). Or do manufacturers use "fillers "(sodium carbonate / washing soda) because they're cheap skates? (No ... that's just being cynical ... tut, tut, bad me).
