Conundrum: I have a raspberry wheat that I carbed to a pretty high level on purpose (recipe called for 4.0 volumes of CO2, I backed it off to 3.5 out of fear). My capper puts a small indentation in the center of the cap. On a few of these bottles, that indentation has swollen to a small dome.

Fearing for my life, I called my LHBS and he said they probably won't blow on me but it would definitely be over-carbed. Just checking to see if there are any differing opinions that would lead me to sneak into the kitchen wearing Kevlar to diffuse them. Should I:

1) RDWAHAHB and leave them another week (it's been 2) at ~68F
2) Pop the top and waste a few beers
3) Put em in the fridge

Thanks!

I would pop the top on one and try it out. If you are happy with the level of carbonation, put them in the fridge. Cheers!
