I think I over carbonated a batch. When I pour it into a glass, even if I try very carefully, I end up with 2/3rds if the glass being foam. I even looked in a bottle and there was foam half way up it from it being poured. Does that mean I over did it? Is there anything I can do? Nothings blown up yet, so no bombs...I hope. It's a maple syrup ale that I bottled the end of November.

Exactly. If it's over carbed and not an infection, you can gently pry one side of the cap off and release the pressure then recap it. Let it sit a few days and try another sample.
Repeat as needed.

With the same caps or use a new one?

I hope it's not an infection because I've already drank 3 of them.

No beer infection can actually hurt you, just make your beer taste different.

It tastes alright...I think. I've never had a maple syrup ale before, so I'm not exactly sure what it's supposed to taste like.
