We planted 4 varieties and have had limited success so far. our Cascade is not dead but being very stubborn...it is nearly ready to break ground (we think).

Centennial Hops a few days after they broke ground. People swore we had something other than hops.

same plant 6.12.11

The Chinook

The Columbus has been a little slow to get going. :disturbed

Here is a group shot that shows the current trellis. we hope to have enough growth to take it over the patio and to the side of the house but might have to wait until next year.

and a shot with some homebrew taken today. Our Rye Pale Ale.

They look great might be time to put an extra 3-4 feet on tha privacy fence.

haha there is a drop off over there...that is actually a standard size fence. ~8ft ? there is a 2-3ft elevation change at the end of the hop planter there.

Pretty sure the neighbors don't really care though. already told them we planted hops :)

No HOA anyway.
