I think my Stout got an infection of some form.
None of my hydro samples tasted odd, but after a few weeks in the keg (in the fridge and a few days out again) i've noticed a sour taste at the end of each sip and a bit of sour odor. Haven't pulled the lid to see if anything is growing yet.
now my question.
I read here that it could be a lacto infection and that a lacto infection requires getting all new plastic everything, hoses, buckets etc.
Since i didn't notice this until it was kegged, do you think all of the plastic before the kegging is okay? I've since transferred and kegged another beer, which seems fine so far, so i'm not too worried about my autosiphon and tubing.
If anyone thinks it could be something else, please feel free to interject.
thanks.
