SR71 listing for $1300 on MyBeerCellar:

This SR-71 Stout is the "unicorn of stout". Not many bottles remain for sale! Released March 10th, 2015. It has been properly stored since. This is a very rare, one time released brew. Aged 18 months in Pappy Van Winkle barrels.

What in the hell does this even mean? Is one going to suddenly turn into a leprechaun and piss rainbows after consuming this?

I wish they would HOP off that DANKwagon.

hahaha beer names are so fun.

Had "Juicy" from RAM last night. Tasted like an average coudy IPA with zero hops.

Why don't breweries take two minutes to search Google/Bing/Lycos/Alta Vista to see if their totally unique, original, clever beer name has been used before? Perhaps even by one of the most well-regarded breweries in the world?

I'm always curious what will happen when/if Fremont enters British Columbia. R&B from Vancouver has been making a Dark Star Oatmeal Stout for a long time.

hell yeah! this has been driving me insane for the past couple of years. so many canadian breweries can't take two seconds to google their "clever name" + beer to see if it has been used before. this brewery in ontario called their mediocre stout "chocolate rain" and my head rolled off my shoulders as if it's really possible that they just don't even know that his beer name has been used for several years before by a much larger, well-regarded brewer. there's dozens of examples more, but I can't wrap my head around how this happens today.

It's not an issue unless they decide to enter the US market. See Central City and the Red Racer debacle.

I just don't know why you wouldn't bother to look first. I mean, Juicy is kind of a lazy name. It's probably been used 10 times. Maybe someone used it before HF and Shaun is the lazy one. I dunno. Who cares. I guess if your beer isn't distributed it only matters to nerds.

They have the same first name, too!
