I had it about a year or so ago over at Two Roads brewery in CT. It wasn't very good at all. Super oxidized the fresher 2010 bottles are much better. Also the 2000's saw limited distribution in the U.S. They sat on my shelves at 16.99 per bottle back then when I used to own a Home D beer store in NY.
There is a lot of bottle variation on SNR2000. The better bottles are magic. The others, not so much.

For anyone here who does use MyBeerCellar for things other than the lulz, this was posted on a Facebook group:

That might be the biggest number of red flags on a single user I can recall seeing in one post.

I wonder how the person obtained the tap handle. I am pretty sure in PA the wholesalers own most of the tap handles at the bars as they are the ones who provide the unique tap handles for various beers. That being said the person who posted the tap handle may actually be selling stolen goods. I am not versed in the laws of every state but even at the bargain price of $12,000 I would avoid this like the plague.

In Illinois, a bunch of breweries sell tap handles to the general public in their tap rooms. So this likely does vary from state to state, maybe even from brewery to brewery.

but even at the bargain price of $12,000 I would avoid this like the plague.
No argument there.

Even in PA the breweries or the wholesaler can sell the tap handles so there is absolutely a possibility that it was acquired through the proper channels.

What I am saying is that tap handles are frequently not returned to the wholesaler after beers are no longer on tap. Whether that means they are in the basement of the bar in some box or they are on the kegerator of a bar employee the fact of the matter is they don't belong to whomever has the tap handle.

This is all pretty irrelevant but those are the types of things I think of at 6am while I am drinking my coffee and reading talkbeer.

I was going to post the $600 bottle of Mimosa in here, but then figured someone would actually pay that for it. Sure enough...
Assuming that surgeons, law firm equity partners, Silicon Valley billionaires, and shipping magnates comprise a very small minority of MBC membership, there are people making some ridiculous financial decisions on that site.

On a semi related note... I should never get drunk and browse My Beer Cellar / My Beer Collectibles. First terrible purchase of 2016 was made when a guy accepted my offer on a bottle that was almost $100 lower than the "buy it now price" but still more than I would pay in a sober state.

Also, what's with all these people saying I have to pay with PayPal friend and family. There is no way I am throwing away the only protection I have in this transaction so you can save a few $. If you don't like the cost of doing business don't post you stuff for sale.

I've heard that if you don't do friends or family then you will get a tax form from paypal summarizing your sales and you have to put it on your taxes. But if you get it friends or family then you don't.

Well it is a business for a lot of those people so they should pay taxes on the profits
