I will say this, D6 is one of the better beers I've tried in the past year or so (and that includes some of the other Derivations, which I thought were good but nothing too special), it's a legitimately excellent stout that isn't some attempt to create a candy bar in a bottle. And some of the packages he's asking for there aren't particularly outrageous for it (a few of them reaching to be sure).

But it's still an awful ISO for the completely douchey construction of it, starting with "monster bottles" and going to the Blauw/DQ reach portion.

Ann b2 + Art b3 is ******* lulz-worthy too.

That's just one line. He's looking for multiple lines.

Trust him guys, the beer he's trying to trade is worth emptying your cellar for! Good lord, I'm so glad I give zero ***** about Side Project. Extra points for mentioning DQ because why not?

ISO 2 lines. Talk to your boy at the super bowl party about pooling resources!

    Assassin and a tiny plus
    Handjee
    FVM
    Zenne+ a somewhat limited lambic
    Blaeber 750 + either 50N40E or LPK
    DBH b1+decoherence or similar
    OG rare+another 24oz BCb variant
    Double barrel antead

    Or would do
Ann b2+ either art b3 or a dark ba hf bottle

Might consider other combos as long as they involve some of what's listed above. Looking for quality, not quantity, though, and I have no interest in cycle or voodoo.

Also let me know if you have Blauw or dq and might be interested in a combo package involving d6 and other stuff.

Huge ask, I know, but trust me--it really is that good!

    Cheers,
    Ben
I'm sure someone holding Don q or Blauw has just been waiting to unload one of them in a deal for a ******* Side Project stout

My first reaction was "I know it is just beer. But I want to punch him ."
It was the "Talk to your boy..." line that inspired me.

DQ and millenium maybe not, but are the others that far fetched? (genuine question :) )

Lol , your Inbox.
Maybe for 6 Assassin :p

Anytime somebody from there visits Brussels they assume everyone is hoarding boxes of Don Quixote and Blau like it´s no big thing.

Obviously, everyone in Belgium has a cellar filled with geuze. It's not like next to nobody here drinks that beer ;)
It's a bit sad really :/ (and those of us that do, can't even get it anymore)

Don Quijote might be the only beer more overrated (in terms of its "value" compared to how good it is) than the hyped ass newmoney TG/SP stouts.

Was the first place I looked but I didn't see it. Guess after he got thoroughly trashed, he decided to take it down.

it wasn't going to go anywhere. Mods turned commenting off so there's be no way to bump it anyways

Not sure where this falls on the ****** beer trade scale, but 46 beers for 1 merits some discussion!!

$80 for two cans of an IPA canned back in October...

LOL.png
i'm not saying it's ok but there's quite a bit of people i'm seeing on the monkish trading facebook groups that simply just want to tick the older cans. Someone was ISO run the pigeon and one life one love a few weeks back and had last fall's Juice Machine FT haha that was entertaining...

I'm sure those 5 year old coffee stouts would taste wonderful.

Yeah, actually 2012 bcbcs is actually one of the best coffee stouts I've had, and that was when I drank it last summer. I've been considering trying to trade for more

Also drank an 11 this past Black Friday that was nice too.
