I purchased 5 pinlock Kegs. The price was right, but I never really thought thru what I was going to use them for. I am thinking about using them for fermentors as I already have 6 ball lock kegs. None of them hold pressure, one of them has been welded, the weld doesn't seem to be leaking however.

A split 8 gallon batch would give me enough head space, how do you guys ferment out of your kegs? I am hoping I don't need to spend the cash to recondition these bad boys.

remove either the pressure release or one of the poppits and attach a blowoff tube.
