tomorrow will be the first week since i brewed up my first t.k. maple nut brown ale. my basement reads a steady low 60 temp. i have a good fermenting head on my glass carboy. the bubbling in the aerater seems to be slowing down a bit. from all i have read on this site, all is well.
i am thinking of picking up another carboy and getting another batch going soon.
great fun, good website!

Instead of buying one carboy, spend about the same amount of money and buy 2 plastic fermenter buckets with airlocks and get 3 batches going at once instead of just 2. :ban:

Congratulations on your first batch!

You definitely want to get another fermenter so you can keep the pipeline going. Either plastic buckets, plastic carboys or glass carboys work fine. I use glass carboys because they will last my lifetime (and beyond). But that's just a matter of preference.
