One more "how does this SCOBY look" thread

I'm asking for a friend who is quite new to kombucha brewing and sought my opinion on her current situation. Her SCOBY is a good bit busier than any I've personally encountered an so I'm here asking for more experienced opinions.

Hey there! This looks fine- the thing to be on the lookout for is fuzzy or colored mold on the surface. This just looks like a very unique looking scoby to me.

Thanks so much for the feedback homesteadinghiker. I've not seen enough SCOBYs to feel confident in giving advice beyond being certain that mold is always a "no go".
