I have been lurking for a few months, and felt I needed to sign up due to the amount of information I was getting from the forums. Some good, some great, some bad, some funny, and some useful. But all thought provoking and helpful in creating my brewing style and technique. I also signed up for a yearly membership, as I have gotten a ton more info/answers from here than the $20 book I bought to start with. Well worth supporting a site that I find so useful.
My 1st brew is in the keg, a pale ale that turned out more like an Amber. Drinkable, but a long way to go from a proud result.
My 2nd brew, an IPA, is gurgling happily away in the primary right now. 3 more weeks and we will see about that one.
