Who woulda thought it was possible?!?!

With the help of an engine hoist, I was able to make my Austin Homebrew Supply Holiday Chocolate Stout...

Still took a little longer than normal, and I forgot my vorlauf on my first runnings, but all is good... :drunk:

Hate to admit it, but I had cold break coming out of my CFC... Kinda made for a long keggle drain, but considering it was 40* outside, I can accept it...

I just had surgery a couple of weeks ago and I just brewed yesterday. I am only able to use one arm, I can’t lift crap! Oh what fun that was. I brewed a MONSTER IIPA w/ a 60 min continuous hop schedule 7 grams every 2 1/2 minutes. Estimated IBU 84!!!! Ya baby. Clean up took me over 3 hours. What a pain in the arm.
Cheers

AH!!! Brothers in Arms, er Arm!!!

And to think I hated cleanup before...

:off:

How's your arm doing? I start physical therapy Tuesday... :drunk:

My shoulder is doing well I get to start PT next Monday.

ya I didn't mind clean up that much until now. When it takes over 3 hours to do a 1 hour job and I am really not even totally done, Ya it sucks. But it could be worse..... I could be at work...

I know this is a little late but how is the arm doing now? .... engine hoist, damn didn't even think of that, oh well couldn't get that in the kitchen any way!
Going through the same thing right now but have a head injury and damage to the 4th cranial nerve on top of it. Just walking around gives me a pain in the shoulder I don't think that the hardware they installed in my shoulder is in right. Been trying to get an appointment with the Dr for weeks. Living on advil and a beer
