Hi everyone,

I want to make something similar to Ommegang BPA--but with an extra aroma--after culturing some Ommegang yeast. How does this sound?

Partial Mash, 70ish% efficiency (stirred BIAB):
Mash 60 min @ 148-149
6 lb Pilsen Light DME
1 lb German Vienna
1 lb Belgian Wheat
8 oz Belgian Aromatic

@60
.75 oz Columbus
@15
.25 oz Saaz
@10
.25 oz Saaz
@5
.25 oz Saaz
@0
.25 oz Saaz
.25 oz Cascade
Dry hop 10 days
2 oz Cascade

I'm going for something more balanced than a Belgian IPA, but with a noticeable hoppy flavor/aroma. Thoughts from folks who've brewed something similar?

Thanks.

Bump. Anyone see any issues with this recipe? As for hops, I also have Zythos and Columbus that I could use.

Sorry to resurrect this from the dead, but I had a random hankering for this beer and wanted to see if anyone ever brewed it.

I found online that the beer contains pilsner, belgian pale, munich, caramel and aromatic malts. It is bittered with Columbus, falvor/aroma with Styrian Golding, and Dry Hopped with Cascade.

Thinking about using Northeaster Abbey yeast, which is supposedly Ommegang's strain.

Thoughts on the below? Think this should be pretty close:
