When looking to buy a pH meter I found general tools sells one identical to the Omegaette PHH-7011. Here is the link to one of the distributors

http://www.tequipment.net/GeneralDPH7011.html#sku=DPH7011

Has anyone seen this? Not sure on shipping but it is the same package for $30 cheaper. Let me know your thoughts and what are the odds it is comparable to the Omegaette?

After searching I found that the Omegaette is made by a company named GOnDO/EZDo from Taiwan. They export to companies such as Omega, Extech, and Cole-Palmer. Just putting this out there for anyone wondering.

Here is the same meter with a different name on Amazon for $109

My guess is that these units are probably hit or miss when it comes to lifespan or reliability. Many user reviews of all of the pH meters include needing a replacement unit. Thing to make sure is to buy from a place that will send you another. I plan on contacting Technequipment to find out their warranty and replacement policy.

Did you order the tequipment.net ph meter? If so was it a good buy?

I took a chance and bought one today.
