Hey All,
I have been searching for a few Perlick 425 SS (all stainless) faucets for a awhile, and after researching a bit, they are definitely hard to find (they're an awesome faucet as far as I'm concerned).

What I am finding are a lot of 425S models (stainless body with plastic spout, plunger, and brass lever). The parts to convert to all stainless aren't that bad, given you can gte the 425S at a good price.

My question is...does anyone know for a fact that a 425S and convert to a 425SS without issue? Are the plastic and all stainless parts interchangeable?

ReverseMonk,

I think I saw a table on the Perlick website that outlined the availability of replacement parts for their different faucets. You might be able to tell from such a chart.

I'll dig around to see if I can find what I was looking at (and to see if my recollection is correct).

RM,

Sorry - I was wrong. The chart I was thinking of can be found on the product spec sheet for their faucets and the one I was looking at only covers the 6XX faucets.

You might try giving them a call?

Good luck!

All of the parts on the 425's are interchangeable. For aesthetics, I would replace the spout for an SS one, but the internal plastic shaft works just as well as the SS piece and maybe even better. The way the plastic piece is shaped, I think allows better flow through the faucet.

Here's all the replacement parts:
