La Fin du Monde is the first victim. I don't have the recommended type of glass, so I'm not getting the full enjoyment out of it. Lovely color; very pale. Luxurious head, delicate scent with a touch of sweet in it. Incredibly rich flavor with a little spice at the end...This thing is _complex_. I have a feeling if I let this warm up more, it'll unlock even more flavors. I'm seriously impressed.

Now...if I don't fall asleep again after one beer, I'll post beer number two on this thread.

The next experiment (and my last for the evening) is Victory Golden Monkey. Not a big experiment cause I've had it before and enjoyed it, but a good before-bed brew.

Yeah, I think it's pretty darn good. It has the yeast complexity that's typical with Unibroue.

La Fin du Monde is a really great beer. I can only get it by buying the 3 packs with La Fin du Monde, Maudite and Tres Pistoles. The other two are worth trying as well if no one has had them.
