Ok to keg but not carb right away?

Long story short:

Dry hopping should be done today, I was going to cold crash then transfer to keg and carb.
Brother-in-law can't get my gas to me until Tuesday.

Will the beer be ok sitting in the keg from Saturday until Tuesday with no gas on it or should I just leave it and cold crash Monday night?
If it wasn't dry hopped I would leave it but because it is I've read that you shouldn't leave it for more than the required time the recipe states.
 
more or less it'll be no different than transferring it to a secondary. you do slightly risk oxidation, but it's minimal, but there.

Long story short, it's okay.
 
If you don't have a way to seal the keg with pressure, I wouldn't transfer it.

It'll be fine sitting on the dry hops for a couple more days. (Lots of us dry hop in the keg - with a filter, of course - and leave it there until the keg kicks. Sometimes it's on the dry hops for months with no ill effects!)
 
What hops did you use for the dry hop. May be fine to just give it an extended crash.
 
Leave it. It'll be fine. I know there are all sorts of comments about "grassy" flavors from an extended dry hop, but years of experience tells me and many others that that's hooey. Ten, eleven days is nothing. Hell, Vinnie Cilurzo's official recipe for Pliny the Elder calls for a longer dry hops than that.

ETA: and here's what happens when you don't seal a 25 ml vial of starter wort completely. I'd be really hesitant about putting beer in a keg and not immediately sealing it with positive pressure.

I agree. Leave it. I've dry hopped my kegs on several occasions, and took a couple of months to kick. It certainly didn't get grassier as it went.
 
Or you could use this as a chance to experiment with naturally carbing a keg.
