I washed and regrommeted about 60 grolsch bottles yesterday, in prep for a bottling session. Learned a hard lesson about rinsing and covering the empties in the garage. All kinds of critters had taken up residence.
Won't do that again...

I feel your pain. I now store almost all of my equipment in huge ( 50 gal ? ) sanitized bins. Everything is soaked in Star San and then sealed away in a semi microbe free zone.

yeh... keep those flip tops open! A little water and temp changes is all it takes to make a funky situation in there!
