Ok Another Noob here

Well where to start . Well I spent 12 years In the nations finest, Medical discharge in 93. And have kinda floated around ever since . At the present I have been working in a hog proccessing plant for the world largest producer of pork for about three years.
What got me started ??? Well for the last 6 months the local water supply has been really bad. You feel dirtier after a shower then before, might smell worse even. :-(. And I know the 5 gallon water bottles may not make the best carboys in the world buttt. Hey Im poor .
I had been watching some videos on youtube , again probably a mistake . but thought what the hey. at present I have a 5 gallon batch of apple cider that smells pretty good . and two small 1 gallon batchs of blackberry cider and blackberry mead going. nope probaly didnt do everything right but they are bubbling happily away.
Wow after reading a lot of the post on here last night I may be way out of my leauge on here but I will just shut up and sit over here in the corner unless I just cant figure something out .

Hey James thank you for your service. Glad to hear you found a job. No need to sit in the corner around here. Lots of great people here who will help you make mead, beer, help you with hop planting or just give you a place to vent at times. This is a good place to be.
