I just cracked open a bottle of my latest IPA that's been conditioning for a week.

Holy crap, this tastes good. Really, really good. No astringency, perfectly balanced bitterness, awesome mouthfeel, so satisfying after you swallow it. I can't believe I created this glass of pure awesome. This is my first really, really good beer.

I love homebrewing.

Good deal Brett. If it's tasting this good after only one week in the bottle, imagine how it will taste in a couple more.

Congrats! Its always nice when you sit back with a really good beer and you think to yourself, "i made this".

just wait 'till you hit the next phase: You go out and have several commercial beers and say "heck, I make better beer than this.":mug:

What recipe did you use for your IPA? I recently made Walker's Kaduva IPA and cant wait to crack my first bottle.
